Long title

Test Plan:
Docking Test
Purpose:

Testing long title can be correctly displayed.

Test procedure:
  1. Run the project.
  2. Focus on Tool #3.
  3. Modify all titles of Tool #3 in Attributes tab of Control Panel as "verylongtitleverylongtitleverylongtitleverylongtitleverylongtitleverylongtitleverylongtitleverylongtitleverylongtitleverylongtitleverylongtitleverylongtitle"
  4. Click Apply Changes.
  5. Dock Tool #3 into Tool #2, make sure Tool #3 on the left of Tool #2.
  6. Unpin Tool #3.
  7. Pin Tool #3.
  8. Undock Tool #3.
  9. Ctrl + Tab.
  10. Watch title when processing.
Initial Conditions:

Compile project at %EIFFEL_SRC%\examples\docking\docking_control

Expected result:
  • Long titles are correctly displayed on tabs, title bars as well as in navigation dialog.

SD_CONTENT short_title is only suitable for short title

It's not proper to set a long title to SD_CONTENT.short_title at step 3. The design of SD_CONTENT.short_title is only suitable for short titles.

"short" is a relative

On May 30th, 2007 ted_eiffel says:

"short" is a relative adjective. Whether a title is short depends on the font, the size of the window/screen and solution of the screen. So it is hard to say a short_title is really short.
